Final Defence of Mr. Adeel Bin Mujahid, an M.Phil. student of Computer Science, has taken place on Thursday 28th April 2011 at NCBA&E. He is conferred the degree of M.Phil. in Computer Science. His topic was about 'A Conceptual Design of Computer Logic to Enhance the Computational Capabilities using Luminous Bit'.
A visit to Berger Paints was organized on 8th February 2011 when a group of twenty six students visited Berger Paints Factory at Manga Mandi, accompanied by Ms. Iram Saba (Manager CDAR), Ms. Razia (Faculty) and Ahmed Zafar (Faculty). Team at Berger Paints preceded to all the departments that included raw material, manufacturing, production, packing, quality control.
Synopsis Defense of one scholar of Ph.D. in Applied Economics and one scholar of M.Phil. in Business Administration were observed in preceding semester. Whereas the Final Defense of two scholars of M.Phil. in Statistics and one scholar of M.Phil. in Business Administration were also observed.
Dr. Saleha Naghmi Habibullah, an NCBA&E Post Graduate in Applied Statistics, has stood amongst the awardees of Best University Teacher Awards declared by HEC.
The 6th Annual Convocation is going to be held in near future. The exact schedule is under discussion and shall be updated as soon as declared. However, the registration for the event has started and the students are advised to get registered.
Along with the percentage scholarships besed on the previous qualification, the college also provides on-campus job opportunities to the students. One of these bursaries is the appointment of the students as Research Associates or RA's assigned to the permanent faculty of the college. The students are paid a monthly stipend of Rupees 1,500 and on the completion of their tenure, they are awarded an experience letter describing the tasks and responsibilities performed.
We would like to share the sad news of demise of our respectful Dr. Khurshid Ahmed (HOD Environmental Management), dated 19th January 2011.
NCBA&E has suffered the loss of a great researcher, advisor and academician. May his soul rest in Peace. Ameen !
